Shaukeens is next Bollywood comedy film directed by Abhishek Sharma. The film features the trio of Anu Kapoor, Piyush Mishra and Anupam Kher in the lead roles alongside Lisa Haydon, while Akshay Kumar has a cameo playing himself.
The project will be a remake of the 1982 movie "Shaukeen" directed by Basu Chatterjee , starring Ashok Kumar, Utpal Dutt, AK Hangal, Mithun Chakraborty and Rati Agnihotri. It is expected that the new version of this will be released on 7th November 2014.
